At Arizona Solar Power, we feature SunPower solar products. Their 225 watt panel is the world’s most efficient all-black solar panel available for residential use, at a rated efficiency 18.1%. They also produce more power per square foot than any other panel, which is important—because of roof vents, chimneys, dormers and other obstacles on your roof, making more power per square foot means it is easier to fit the size of system you need on to the available space.
Also, every SunPower system has an included, 25 year monitoring system. Using your broadband internet connection, the data-logger attached to your inverter sends information to SunPower in San Jose, California. With every SunPower solar system, we use a SunPower inverter (made by SMA specially for SunPower) to convert the DC electricity from the solar array into usable AC electricity for your home. The inverter monitors the utility's grid and supplies power just the same as the utility. When production exceeds household use, the inverter increases the voltage just a bit, sending the excess power into the utility grid.
Also since it uses the internet, you can log in anywhere you find internet access, and check in on the production of your solar array.
